Coastal Concern Alliance is an independent, voluntary group, set up in 2006 to campaign for the urgent reform of the undemocratic & out-dated Foreshore Act 1933 governing construction at sea and the introduction of a new planning framework for the marine environment.
Our organisation is composed of individuals who:
- Recognise that Irish coastal waters belong to the Irish people
- Wish to see the unique value of our marine environment recognised and protected
- Believe that a modern, democratic marine planning system should be introduced
